Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
You will analyze, design, configure and support all Airfield Systems to improve business efficiency and productivity through best practices and the appropriate staffing and management of a technical team.
You will provide required expertise and will work closely with product managers, senior business analysts, internal and external customers as well as vendors.
You will also be responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of systems and operating procedures.
You will also take ownership and liaise with internal technology support teams and vendors on escalated incidents, leading to their resolution on 24x7 basis.
Job Requirements
You should have a minimum of 5-6 years of technology experience with at least 4 year's hands-on technical roles in airport/airfield systems domain and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
You should have a Bachelor/Master degree in software engineering/Computer science
You should have around 4 years of experience in systems such as Air Traffic Control and Monitoring Solutions, Airfield/Aircraft Movement and Turnaround Systems, Arrival/Departure Manager and pre departure sequencing solutions, airline and airport integration, situation awareness platforms, stakeholder collaboration and decision making systems and logistics optimization systems are all beneficial
You should have experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes
