Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Responsible for Implementation/Tuning/Enhancement of detective controls for AML Transaction monitoring as well as to assist in developing preventive controls for mitigating sanctions risks as per Group/Regulatory policies and procedures.
Analyze & respond to transaction filtering/monitoring (AML) alerts within the required response times.
Analyze & respond to SWIFT based names screening alerts within the required responses times.
Analyze the SWIFT massages for unusual remittances.
Escalate unresolved alerts and cases for further AML/Sanctions investigations to AML Manager.
Prepare and escalate MIS for pending alerts and queries to AML manager.
Prepare special regulatory reports.
Assist in the administration of the AML monitoring and filtering system.
Conduct investigations for internal suspicious activity reports as assigned and document the investigation as a Case file.
Draft suspicious activity reports for further review and concurrence, before sending to UAE central bank.
Assisting the Manager- AML Transaction Monitoring in tasks as assigned.
All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree and or Professional qualifications in Risk & Control professions, i.e., Audit, Compliance etc.
Work Experience: Possess overall banking experience in financial products & processes such as Operations, Branch Management & or Finance with a minimum of 4-5 years in AML.
