    The successor will Collate, analyze and present research and analysis. She or he will assist in complex analyses and support in scenarios and roadmap definition to provide the business with fact based action plans. The successor must be able to work fast and accurately under pressure, and need to be aware of worldwide cultures. The role will also be required to work in shifts as required and travel to network to support various initiatives. She or he will coordinate with various departments to ensure RM decisions are executed; strategies are followed; work in highly challengeable and pressurized environment. Work closely with Revenue Management capacity planning team.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Setting a seasonal pricing strategy for the region in co-ordination with the regional commercial team; considering the forecasted market conditions and Etihad Cargo business plan. Set the prices by flow, rate type, customer and product. Identifying the need for tactical pricing promotions.

    • Evaluate and decide on the allocations to be granted on the flights considering; flow of business, customer, product and network optimization.

    • Governance and performance tracking of the prices and capacity allocations.

    • Research and analysis of the regional market using different sources of data both internal and external including regional commercial feedback. Based on the analysis provide sales teams with opportunities to pursue to increase contribution; by increasing load-factor, price and or mix of business.

    • Adhoc rate evaluation and approval; considering the latest trends and shipment requirements. Ensuring the basis of the evaluation is optimizing the contribution for Etihad Cargo.

    • Route Analysis – monitoring routes and analyse the performance. Identifying and taking appropriate action so as to ensure load factors are kept at an optimum with the best mix of business. This will include; influencing the Revenue Management system so that the latest trends and forecast are reflected and development of initiatives to improve performance. Tracking the performance of the changes.

    • Construct pricing proposals for participation in Customer global tenders. Guide the commercial management team on the negotiation stance for the meeting.

    • Propose innovative tradeoffs to make it a win – win for both customer and Etihad. Performance tracking of the tender awards.

    • Working in cross-functional groups to support; new product launches, strategic business initiatives and system enhancements.

    • Receive, process, and respond to daily enquiries on a wide range of services by providing timely and high quality support to internal / external customers to meet their requirement

    • Receive and analyse issues or complaints to ensure they are solved or addressed in the most effective manner

    • Support customers on a wide range of generic services following established policies and procedure to ensure customer needs are met in the most effective manner

    • Coordinate and escalate complex or specialized enquiries to responsible teams to ensure ad hoc support is provided

    • Work closely with supervisors to improve the execution of assigned activities

    • Track major customer complaints and report key issues to supervising colleagues

    • Interact with internal teams to ensure consistent and reliable customer service

    • Provide customers with dedicated support according to policies and procedures to ensure compliance to regulations and risks mitigation

    • Identify and highlight potential areas of improvement to support continuous improvement of service and/or operations

    • Proactively perform a wide range of assigned and emerging activities to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures and high level of customer service


    Job Requirements

    • Minimum Diploma (2 years or more). Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and query tools.

    • Minimum of 4 years of work experience within relevant field.
