We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the Cargo Delivery team. Manage loadmaster team through efficient control, coordination and monitoring of all activities, prepare roster and ensure that all EY freighter scheduled and charter operations are accompanied by loadmaster. Engage with internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance with EY policies for roster planning, training and competence checking, manuals integrity and deliver compliance with regulatory, corporate and industry regulations etc. Implement and manage efficient and comprehensive communication program as well as supplier, partner and stakeholder compliance assurance platform. Develop auditing, external stakeholder training, performance and service delivery process in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and EAP’s.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Manage loadmasters in i-Achieve, roster, leave, training etc. Ensure all relevant departmental tasks are fulfilled within the agreed and defined timeframes.
Engage with crew planning, crew scheduling, network planning etc. for roster development and loadmaster support for network, AUH hub (EASC and EASG), ramp coordinators, HCC, NOC to coordinate operational issues for freighter operations.
Ensure compliance to Etihad Cargo defined service targets, protect OTP and work with internal stakeholders in achieving targets through SLA and KPI reporting.
Identifying areas of improvement with local EY teams and third party service providers across the freighter network. Support implementation of new technologies for performance and GHA service delivery elements and compile performance reports.
Implement freighter ramp specific audit program targeting Compliance, Safety & Security across all EY freighter stations. Also ascertain that specified and regulatory mandatory trainings for loadmaster teams are delivered. Drive implementation of loadmaster line check program and focus on maintaining updated training files and matrix. Development of station/freighter ramp audit/surveillance program.
Compile and deliver relevant freighter specific operations and performance reports in order to improve service delivery measured by departmental KPIs such as Freighter On Time Performance, FAB & C2K. Introduce new methods of loading and speed enhancements for new initiatives such as HDU and H2T as well as QRT and express products.
Accountable for execution of defined processes for efficient controls related to GHA usage of Ground Service Equipment (GSE) in line with GHA contractual obligations, actual operational and product related requirements – thereby minimizing costs. Identify further cost reduction opportunities within freighter operations activities.
Support EY Cargo Commercial and Global Accounts management by identify opportunities to improve within freighter operations related cargo services and efficiencies to enable additional revenue achievement.
Manage and support the integration of Etihad owned and operated freighters into the Etihad fleet. Support and project manage EY fleet ACMI to EAP and/or other stakeholders.
Responsible for ensuring that all cargo operations across the Network are aligned with the corporate safety policy and that all cargo activities are performed in a safe and secure manner. Ensure that loadmasters are performing mandatory security search of all holds and cabins in line with EY AOSP.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree desirable but not essential if educated to secondary degree school level with significant relevant work experience.
Further education in logistics/aviation and/or business management is a definite advantage.

Minimum 7 years’ experience – with a demonstrable experience in:
Airline Cargo Operations
Ground Handler Operations
Loadmaster
Operational Management station or hub level
