Alahli Bank of Kuwait - ABK Kuwait is currently looking for a Senior Officer - FCD who will be responsible for the following tasks
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Validation: Verify accuracy of financial data entry and vouchers processed in the Finance
Analysis Carry out analysis and produce outputs to support decision making
Database management Handle databases and data and ensure they are maintained and provide data and analysis in line with required formats
Reporting Prepare tables and reports to insert into statutory or internal reports
Invoices: Receive invoices and expense requests from various areas of the bank and review them and ensure they are within the norms of the policies and guidelines
Fixed Assets: Assist in preparing the accounting entries for capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets and ensure they are posted to proper accounts.
Payment Process: Assist in preparing and maintain Budget payment system, expenditure proposals and monitor payments against the expenditure proposals and budgets.
Data quality Check the quality of data and ensure gaps are investigated and resolved
Systems : Input payment vouchers and prepare vendor cheques from DD module in Finacle
Transactions Complete transactional work and record outcomes/records/issues
Reconciliations Carry out checks and reconciliations to ensure data correctness and alignment
External representation Engage with suppliers or customers on transactional issues and resolve
