Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of PR & Marketing, this position will provide special project, administrative, and secretarial support to the PR & Marketing Department at the American University of Kuwait.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Respond to routine phone calls, email inquiries, and department guests.
Draft and follow up on general correspondence (emails, faxes and official letters).
Organize and maintain general files and archives.
Handle campus facility reservations and media archives.
Manage trip bookings and event arrangements.
Maintain the Department's calendar of appointments and scheduling.
Prepare meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
Prepare vendor contracts.
Process Financial Requisition Forms and maintain the Department’s financial and administrative files.
Other special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements
Diploma or its equivalent required
Minimum 2 years administrative experience required
Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic (highly desired) is an asset
Computer-literate (MS Office)
