Job Description
The main purpose of the job is to support Investment Advisors in sales and servicing of investment clients and to support the department in product management
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Prepare term sheets using data available on Bloomberg / other sources for every client transaction – bonds, leverage, funds, equity etc.
Execute all investment transactions on the system
Execute bond transactions with the fixed income desk
Enter leverage applications on CVX / Cofax system and coordinate with Credit and Credit Admin for booking of facility
Manage all client documentation, collection of original subscription documents and submitting them to back office
Be the single point of contact for all operations related matters and coordinate with back office for smooth transaction processing
Be the single point of contact for Elite and Private Banking RMs for resolving client related service issue
Interact with clients, when required, to resolve service queries or complete documentation
Execute investment subscriptions with external product providers
Collate product updates and factsheets from external fund managers and distribute to advisors and RMs across segments
Track sales MIS, revenue booking and management fee booking and collection. Provide regular updates to Financial Control.
Coordinate with IT for regular upkeep and maintenance of investment system
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree
Minimum of 3 years of banking experience.
Exposure to wealth management environment would be preferable
Good numbers skills and good knowledge of excel.
Accuracy and attention to details.
Ability to interact with clients.
Ability to manage inter-departmental work flow.
Excellent knowledge of English. Arabic language would be distinct advantage.
