Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
To carry instructions of the Consultant/Senior Registrar as regards management of patients and to ensure that the Senior House Officer and Residents are performing their duties and implementing the instructions of the Consultant/Senior Registrar as regards management of the patient.
To ensure that the case records and investigation reports and all patient’s correspondence are kept in the medical file and that the patient’s management plan is implemented strictly and correctly.
To seek the opinion of his senior whenever there is a change in the course of treatment or difficult decision is to be taken.
To carry out daily rounds on in-patients and report to his Consultant or Senior Registrar.
