Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Operate BHS according to current demand of client.
Control and supervision BHIS staff and all operation and maintenance activities to achieve overall target of system availability.
Ensure that requirement of DCA QHSE department are adhere to all staff and take appropriate precautions at all times during his working hours and responsible for maintaining a clean work area during and after the maintenance.
Interact with BHS O&M Team to maintain system performance and to overcome as quick as possible any anomaly with operational impact. Conclude decisions how to overcome anomalies on advise provided by O&M team aligned with client demands.
Escalate and resolve any upcoming issue due to non-availability of system in cooperation and tight communication with Emirates and DNATA.
Provide additional input to perform root cause analysis of technical issues in order to improve service activities and/or system availability.
Will be responsible / accountable to follow occupational health, safety, security, environment and quality as stipulated in OHSMS P03, Project HSSE Plan section 4, SDME EP05 and SDME QP03
Job Requirements
Excellent knowledge of Airport Operations and Baggage Handling systems is necessary
Minimum of Graduate in Electric or Mechanical or Electronic Mechanical or Electrical or Electronic degree years with minimum 3 years experience or alternatively a Diploma graduate with minimum of 4 years experience in similar field and communication skills in English. Good understanding of "SCADA"/"PLC" systems required.
Leading groups of technicians and being liable for them.
Mandatory to communicate in English language and important to have worked in different cultural areas adapting to the cultural work ethics
