Job Description
Provide operational support at leisure campsites, primarily responsible for maintaining the camp, animals, equipment and stock
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Safeguard camp equipment and stock.
Record day to day consumption of stock.
Ensure the camp is clean and in a basic state of readiness at all times.
Create and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
Adhere to camp administrative procedures.
Ensure the 4WD p/u is maintained and driven correctly at all times.
Clean, monitor and maintain health of camels ensuring that adequate exercise is given and medical requirements met.
Liaise with Safari Supervisors to report incidents and emergencies.
Assembly, operation, and maintenance of camp equipment (including Sheesha)
Job Requirements
Hospitality.Other: 1+ Year experience
10 Years schooling or equivalent
Previous experience in camp operations, camel handling or hospitality.
Basic knowledge of tent making
Basic knowledge of camp maintenance
Basic carpentry skills
Basic electrical skills - Basic automotive skills
