Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of PR & Marketing, this position will provide support on multiple areas related to marketing, interactive media, and creative design.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Serves as AUK’s primary photographer/videographer including editing photos and video footage.
Manages AUK photography and videography projects, requests, and archives.
Designs interactive ads, presentations, and communication tools.
Designs social media posts.
Training student workers in use of equipment; and working with communications staff to determine creative ways to use video to promote University mission.
Other special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Creative Design, or related field.
Additional training experience is an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years
Possess artistic abilities and proficiency in using professional cameras and photo manipulation software.
Proficient knowledge of creative design and publications software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to compose a shot, understand framing, color and light to create a visually attractive shot.
Attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to attend evening and off-campus university events for coverage.
Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
