    Job Description

    To carry out safe and secure on time operations in accordance with the ground operations manual and all applicable procedures.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Assist customers through all procedures related to arrivals & departures in the following activities.

    • Reservations & ticketing

    • Making reservations across the counter

    • Selling of tickets.

    • Remitting cash to the concerned department.

    • Answering customer queries over the telephone.

    • Departures

    • Check flight information such as aircraft registration, book load and departure timings.

    • Ensure required numbers of loaders are present at the desired locations.

    • Ensure screening of checked in baggage.

    • Maintain high quality Check in procedures

    • Co- coordinating with various airport agencies for boarding and to ensure all customers are on board for a smooth & on time departure.

    • To assist customers with special requests.

    • To handle denied boarding situations and any other flight irregularities.

    • Arrivals

    • To assist customers with special requests.

    • To assist customers with Mishandled / damaged baggage. Prepare all required reports for the same.

    • Co-ordination with the baggage vendor for the damaged bags.

    • Follow up with the en-route stations regarding lost baggage.

    • Any other responsibility assigned by the management from time to time.

    Job Requirements

    • With up to a minimum of 2years of experience as airline customer service agent (Passenger Service Agent).

    • University degree in business or related discipline.

    • IATA Qualification or Equivalent.

    • Knowledge of GDS systems Amadeus, Sabre & Galileo.

    • Strong verbal and written English & Arabic is a must.

    • Interpersonal ability and customer service skills.

    • Previous experience in travel / awareness of the Airlines serving this market.
