Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will support Technicians in carrying out scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repair on equipment, vehicles, and plants maintained by dnata Technical Services Workshops. Key duties include planning daily tasks, maintaining good housekeeping, diagnosing and repairing faults, recording work-related activities in log books, ensuring standard safety procedures, and informing Technicians of necessary spare parts and tools.
Key duties include carrying out scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer's recommendations, ISO certification requirements, safety standards, and legal and regulatory requirements. Daily inspections are also essential for operational reliability and safety. Tasks related to ULD repairs and assembly activities are executed according to MOE, manufacturers' recommendations, EASA/GCAA regulation, and safety standards. You will also assist in maintaining Ground Power Unit (GPU) and Preconditioned Air (PCA) units to acceptable standards. Operate access equipment and fork lifts to assist maintenance activities and maintain neutralization plants.
Job Requirements
This role requires completion of 10 years of schooling or equivalent, 2 years of trade certificate course in an engineering discipline, and 2 years of experience in maintenance. Candidates should have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, automotive, air-con, refrigeration systems, vehicles, material handling equipment, heavy vehicles, specialized training in hydraulics, lifting equipment, conveyor systems, and motor control systems. Proficiency in English, a UAE driving license, valid operating equipment license, and understanding of MOE, EASA/GCAA regulations and safety standards are also required.
Ability to work in height, lift and move heavy objects, work with motorized mobile equipment, work in confined spaces, contact with contamination materials, dangerous goods, and fixed protruding sharp objects, work in noisy environments. Have an airport driving permit.
