The Technology & Innovation department of Etihad Aviation Group is urgently seeking two contractor roles as Analysts to assist in the areas of –
IT Cost management framework, process definition and operations
IT Supplier management framework, process definition and operations
The roles would be responsible for the design and delivery of initiatives to achieve a leaner process, quicker turnaround and transparency in the relevant area. The role will require a mix of analytical skills, experience in cost or supplier management domains, with ability to logically drive changes in processes. Ability to demonstrate logical and critical reasoning, is vital for the role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Assist the Cost / Supplier Management Leads with the development and documentation of processes, indicators and frameworks for each specific area
Own and manage the delivery of specific initiatives allocated by the Leads aimed at either improving the current process, providing transparency to all stakeholders or improving governance
Deliver assigned tasks to support the delivery of the overall initiatives in accordance with the timelines, standards and brief provided
Analyze data for specific areas, for each initiative, and provide recommendations that will help improve governance, speed or transparency
Ensure the process is automated where possible using tools available, by documenting the overall workflow and coordinating with the developer team to deliver a beta version
Coordinate the user testing of any automated tools, within IT department, ensuring feedback is addressed and stakeholders engaged to achieve sign offs
Support in defining and implementing quality measures, standards and performance indicators to ensure the continuous monitoring and improvement of IT functions
Managing the overall process documentation library in alignment with governance standards ensuring availability of working and approved versions
Monitors adherence to governance frameworks by stakeholders across departments
Job Requirements
Minimum - Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years relevant work experience
Minimum – Demonstrable analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Word
Minimum – 2 years of experience in IT departments in a supplier-centric or outsourced environment
Minimum - Hands on experience in implementing process or governance changes, ideally in an IT environment
Preferred – Knowledge of technology cost elements OR supplier management
Preferred – ITIL/COBIT practitioner or Consulting experience
