Job Description
The purpose of this role is to conceptualize, script and direct video content creation for mainly for Etihad Aviation Group' and its entities not limited to Corporate Affairs, GCEO Office, HR, as well as Social Media and Marketing. The role will be accountable for producing storyboards, writing script, creating shot-lists, editing, and setting video standards and guidelines when appropriate. Key to this position is the ability to interpret a limited brief, factor in learning’s from insights and deliver against tight turnaround times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Core responsibility working as a complete video production specialist within the Corporate Affairs’ Creative Services unit acting as in-charge to develop, edit and iterate video narratives for Etihad’s omni-channel environments including but not limited to Internal communication, social media, IFE, web, events, etc in suitable formats.
Handle day to day to operations of Corporate Affairs Video content creation and production studio
Work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders to drive the creation of unique and innovative Content
Operate and maintain records of video production, editing and livestream equipment and software. Ensure continuous skills enhancement and maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital production, process improvement and production methodologies.
Job Requirements
A relevant bachelor’s degree or diplomain video production is mandatory. The candidate’s portfolio demonstrating a varied skillset is more applicable. A knowledge of script writing and still photography is a bonus.
At least 3-5 years of experience, ideally gained within a Broadcasting company, Media & Production Agencies, or an in-house team. Aviation industry background is a nice to have.
Advanced knowledge of RED, 4K/5K and digital camera technology
Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Premiere Pro and After Effects
Broad knowledge and experience in video shooting, editing and visual storytelling
Knowledge of free online tools, apps, 3D VR etc also a bonus
