Job Description
Manage inbound & outbound supply chain for SAEI movement of parts & chemicals. This includes but not limited to custom clearance, import permits, export of parts and internal transportation fleet. The main objective is deliver value to SAEI through effective and efficient process, comply to specific regulations and sustain a continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates.
Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
Supervise logistics, transportation, and custom clearance.
Evaluate budgets and expenditures.
Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and work requirements.
Create/ Enhance policies and procedures for logistics activities.
Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
Train Logistics department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Supply chain, MIS, business Administration or Engineering
GPA: (2.80 /4.0) or 3.50/5.0) - Calculate your GPA
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Logistics at least 4 in managerial position
Knowledge in customs processes
MBA & SCM certification is a plus
Aviation experience is a plus
