Giving the opportunity for students to experience Emirates Group career opportunities and giving them the chance to evolve as individuals in the work field.
The primary focus of this placements is to provide opportunities to UAE National students to experience and gain an understanding of work environments within the company. This is achieved through work experience and summer placement programmes.
The placement can be in any of the Emirates group units and will be advised upon availability
Official working hours to be shared once confirmed.
Summer Job commence on the 14th July and ends on 22nd August 2019.
This role is designed to suit students with an interest in gaining employability skills over a short period of time that covers:
Self-reliance – self-management, readiness to accept responsibility, flexibility, resilience, time management
People skills – teamwork, communication skills, listening and questioning, respecting others, contributing to discussion
General employment skills – problem solving, literacy, application of numeracy
Specialist skills – business and customer awareness, application of information technology
Working hours
Department Working Hours: Sun – Wed 7.00 am – 3.30 pm & Thursday from 7.00 am – 3.00 pm Thurs.
Internship Hours: Sun – Wed 8.00 am – 2.30 pm & Thursday from 8.00 am – 2.00 pm.
Job Requirements
Minimum: Grade 12 - High School graduate (attested by the ministry of higher education).
Undergraduates – University graduates
United Arab Emirates Nationals - Emirati only
Valid United Arab Emirates Passport and Khulasat Al Qaid
Experience in general administration
Good Communication skills
Teamwork
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer skills in Microsoft Office
