Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to administer all Safety & Compliance Monitoring issues in accordance with company policy & procedures and in compliance with Kuwait DGCA requirements. Safety & Compliance Monitoring Officer also has the responsibility to maintain ongoing compliance with applicable Kuwait DGCA requirements, all conditions and restrictions of the AOC and standards & procedures established by the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Maintain and control Safety & compliance monitoring documentation and records system
Review/scrutinize company documentation prior to internal/external acceptance/approval as required
Establish, develop, and maintain departments procedures, hand books, checklists..etc.
Performing internal compliance monitoring activities
Conduct internal/external audits as authorized
Coordinating Safety & Compliance Monitoring safety meetings
Any other tasks as assigned by VP SCM , Compliance Monitoring Manager , and or Safety Manager
Job Requirements
A relevant engineering degree, from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics or other studies relevant to aviation safety.
Computer literacy in MS Office program applications.
Good knowledge of English language both spoken and written.
Familiar with DGCA regulations/requirements and the contents of company AOC, operations specifications, the provision of the regulations and the standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure safety, security and efficiency.
Has completed human factors, SMS and AVSEC courses
