    Looking for results-driven business development champion to actively focus on driving business growth for the business development unit under payit. The candidate will be primarily tasked for engaging merchant portfolio in terms of driving spends and transactions in order to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability as well as acquire potential large clients to attain revenue targets.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Be well versed in the product to understand client needs and present, promote and sell payit products/services to existing and prospective merchants and drive transaction acquisition

    • Proactively establish, develop and manage relationships with merchants and clients in the portfolio to drive business volumes

    • Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Customer Experience, Marketing and Support to ensure client needs are met and are able to drive value from the relationships.

    • Monitor and maintain periodic checklist and reports to evaluate performance of the client relationship and identify areas for growth.

    • Contribute in development of proposals and presentations to nurture new business opportunities

    • Attend face to face meetings with clients and well as support with front end client staff training needs and/or collateral deployments as well as need be.

    • Be able to work in an agile work model and is proactive and self-driven.

    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

    • Achieve agreed upon business targets and outcomes within specified period.

    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.

    • Be flexible to work in start-up like environment where focus is client engagement and revenue generation.

    • Be technically savvy to be able to understand digital payments.

    • Job Context The job profile is primarily outdoor and therefore UAE driving license and a vehicle is a must.


    Job Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development managing merchants/clients in the UAE

    • Graduate and well versed in MS Office

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent in verbal and written communication skills

    • Persuasive and target focussed and are able to professionally and confidently communicate to C-Level Executives as well.

    • Previous experience is working for startups or internet/app companies is preferred.

    • Having technical knowledge in integrations, platforms etc. and able to communicate in Arabic will be an advantage
