    Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Developer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Develop and write computer programs to perform specific tasks related to organizational goals

    • Create workflow diagrams and charts to demonstrate the functionality of programs before coding them

    • Run software tests to spot and resolve bugs and inconsistencies

    • Write code for software patches and bug fixes

    • Work with team members to find creative, innovative solutions to problems

    • Perform regular audits to identify software inefficiencies and mastermind ways to improve workflow

    • Write and continually update documentation for all programs for internal and external reference

    • Collaboratively participates in business requirements gathering sessions and documents technical specifications readily resolve defects, and maintain and implements high quality program changes, applying IT development standards and practices

    • Effectively collaborates with Quality Assurance Testing and business staff to review application functionality and test results

    • Apply existing standards for programming, naming, security & performance and provide proper documentation

    • Provide accurate and timely estimates for assigned work and documentation for all completed work assignments

    • Leverage a detailed understanding of business processes and procedures to prepare accurate and comprehensive user-level documentation

    • Adapt existing methods and procedures to implement and test program modules in line with functional requirements and development standards

    • Assist peers with detailed program analysis & design for assigned work

    • Working knowledge of integration of CICS

    • develop business processes and correct defects reported against existing integrations, coaches, views


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor of computer science or equal degree.

    • Minimum 3 years of experience

    • Web application development experience in any MVC framework

    • Preferred previous working experience as a Middleware Developer up to two years

    • Working knowledge of IT Hardware and Software

    • Knowledge of banking sector is preferred.

    • Skills Experience with IBM IIB V10, REST API development, CICS, ESQL

    • Java J2EE. XML, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, Working experience with web services APIs SOAP/REST, JSON and Agile Methodology

    • Hands on experience with NoSQL and SQL database

    • In depth knowledge of XHTML, JavaScript and CSS.

    • A solid understanding of OO design and Computer Science fundamentals.

    • Familiar with SOA concepts

    • Ability to diagnose & address issues.

    • Ability to work under pressure.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

    • An organized mind

    • Good Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships

    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

    • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

    • Team player

    • Good English command of written and verbal

    • Team-management and leadership skills
