Alahli Bank of Kuwait - ABK is currently recruiting for the role of Auditor
Carry out audits for UAE and DIFC in line with audit policies
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Generic Accountabilities
Corporate Governance and Compliance Work fully within risk policies and procedures and compliance regulations and ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks
Specific Accountabilities
Carry out audits, report on progress, complete checks, ensure audit are completed on time and in line with defined scope and IAD procedures
Identify and report compliance issues, assess implications and raise with auditees
Test internal control systems and report on their adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness
Assess risk of frauds and irregularities and report on these effectively
Analyze and evaluate data on a continuous basis. Structuring, centralizing and scheduling queries for automatic interrogation on data to provide required results. Presenting results in a format understandable by the business and executive management.
Ensure confidentiality and secured retention of hard or electronic data, information and records.
Report on audit and investigations, present to auditees and ensure follow up and validation on audit issues
Carry out investigations into irregularities/fraud and provide independent opinion based on facts, policies, procedures, etc.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification/experience in Finance
Additional Professional Certification in CPA Certified
Accounting or audit qualification or equivalent experience
Banking sector experience
Experience of investigations
Reporting experience
Audit standards and regulations
Audit techniques and processes
