Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Consult with business partners to understand business objectives and gather initial requirements, establish priorities and set direction in order to develop and recommend appropriate solutions.
Design, test, and implement necessary ETL and database processes, database objects to facilitate the creation of data solutions to deliver high-performance, high-integrity business intelligence reporting, and ad hoc data mining.
Design product dashboards to reflect product related trends and business objectives on key KPIs for all Consumer Bank lines of business: cross-sell penetration, attrition, usage, digital and other performance management.
Develop key performance metrics such as profitability, cross sell ratios, channel usage, spends, product insights and similar decision recommendations with the objective of identifying predictable and sustainable business decision processes in all retail businesses bank operate.
Creation of metadata/business layers to enable the adoption of self-service reporting and interactive dashboards.
Develop, review and coordinate preparation of procedures manuals for “Business Intelligence” in line with the business objectives.
Review and monitor compliance to the internal control systems that are in-line with Bank’s policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
2 - 3 years of banking experience on BI/reporting front. Hands-on experience on SAS / BI and experience in performing data integrations between warehouses/marts, financial systems, and operational systems using a combination of report tools and data interfaces.
Advanced knowledge on Information delivery including BI/analytic reporting, operational reporting, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Dashboards, and similar tools.
Candidates should have excellent Communication and Presentation skills. Ability to liaise with business teams to perform best practice in data representation and data sharing.
Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of banking systems is a requirement along with proficiency in bank accounting principles.
Banking products knowledge preferable.
Experience in ETL Tools, Data Modelling and Data warehouse.
Experience in SSRS / Power BI preferable.
