    Our Forensics team are involved with uncovering and presenting economic evidence, detecting and deterring fraudulent activity, and supporting companies involved in an existing or pending litigation, alternative dispute resolution proceeding or investigation.

    Grant Thornton’s Forensic Advisory Services practice provides our clients with the advisory services listed below:

    • Investigations

    • Disputes & Litigation

    • Expert Witness

    • Compliance

    • Forensic Technology

    • Corporate Intelligence

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Interested candidates should display an affinity for learning and problem-solving skills as well as have the adaptability to work cross-functionally within the Forensics team. Interested candidates should be self-starters and should demonstrate strength in or a desire to build skills related to Grant Thornton’s core values of: Collaboration, Leadership, Excellence, Agility, Respect and Responsibility.

    • Desirable Qualiufications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics and related fields

    • Qualified to sit for a relevant accounting certification

    • Proficiency in more than one language is a plus

    • Willingness and ability to work additional hours and travel to various client sites (as needed)

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills

    • Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

    • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

    • Effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities and simultaneous projects

    • Enthusiasm to learn through a combination of structured, on-the-job and self-directed training

    • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment with strong attention to detail

    • Desire to pursue applicable professional certifications (e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), etc.)
