    Job Description

    EFG Hermes is currently recruiting for the role of Business Development Assistant Manager (Corporate Finance Solutions)

    Handle commercial activities with medium to large clients generated from agreements with different vendors, to maximize sales achievement.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Maximize profitable sales and achieve quantitative and qualitative sales objectives.

    • Develop an effective sales approaches:

      • gathers market information and identifies sales leads.

      • determines commercial approach for meetings, in coordination with senior team members

      • conducts cold calls and scoping visits and discussions.

      • understands the client requirements and customizes the offers to suit them.

      • prepares and negotiates offers.

      • documents sales activities through call reports and inputs client data into the system.

    • Follow-up on and ensure the timely execution of transactions.

    • Promote the firm’s relationship with client and establish and reinforce personal and professional credibility.

    • Stay up-to-date with the clients’ future plans, and maintain and develop the relationship through multiple-selling (deep pocket approach).

    • Monitor the performance of clients’ accounts’ performance in terms of growth, profitability, and collection track record.

    • Identify potential clients and develop relations with new ones. Proactively recover important client accounts that were lost.

    • Support senior team members in the preparation of achievable sales targets.

    • Resolve clients’ complaints and escalate complex ones to senior team members for further action.

    • Follow-up on the collection of receivables of past-due clients.

    • Coordinate with other departments to monitor the progress of the deals and ensure that they are successfully and efficiently closed

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree.

    • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.

    • Proven sales track record.

    • Excellent client management skills; can understand and proactively address different clients’ needs.

    • Excellent negotiation skills.

    • Excellent command of Arabic and English.

    • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening)

    • Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.

    • Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.

    • Ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.
