Banque du Caire - BDC is currently recruiting for the role of Network Security Engineer
The role requires an experienced IT Security Expert who is a self-starter, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic to be part of BDC team to lead the IT Network Security operational team.
This role will be responsible for IT network security devices configurations that include configuring and improving network security operations and posture. It also includes notifying of system outages, system health degradation; responding and submitting security service requests and trouble tickets
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Configures network security devices.
Supports daily network security operational activities.
Configures upgrades and maintains network security devices and systems, to latest code releases and performance improvements.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation management for production issue resolution
Comply with IT security operations' procedures.
Maximizing Network Security performance by checking performance, troubleshooting network security problems and outages, and scheduling upgrades.
Maintaining and administering firewalls and firewalls’ policy optimization & orchestration solutions.
Ensuring that security records are accurate and complete and that request for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures.
Communicating complicated technical issues, threats, vulnerabilities and risks to security engineers and managers, system administrators, and management.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation management for production issue resolution
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer / Communication Engineering or Information Systems.
At least 3 to 7 years of relevant network security experience preferably in banking or financial sectors.
Strong background in security operations, configuration & change management, IDS/IPS, VPN, network security, firewalls, WAF remote access, single sign on, two factor authentication, digital signatures active directory, DNS security, denial of service protections, cryptography, Layer 2 security, routing security, Wireless LANs, and reverse proxy.
Experience in reading and performing packet analysis.
Change, Release and Patch management skills are required.
Experience with any of the following platforms is a plus: Networks firewalls, UTMs (PaloAlto networks, Juniper, Force Pont, F5, FireMon, FireEye, or McAfee).
