    The CIB Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Soft Collections Officer

    Ensure timely follow up on customers who failed to meet their due dates with less than 30 days with the aim of minimizing delinquencies, providing valid feedback for over dues & recommend customers’ movement to rehabilitation if needed.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Collection

    • Ensure that respective customers’ arrears and data are constantly updated prior to contacting them to avoid any inaccuracy.

    • Ensure that the accounts of delinquent customers are monitored closely and frequently monitored to be able to identify over due payments.

    • Ensure timely follow up with RM’s regarding the customer accounts, ensuring that delinquencies less than 10 days are contacted and gather feedback

    • Negotiate arrears settlements and report actions to be taken ‘partial payment, rescheduling or recommend moving case to Rehab. team

    • Ensure accuracy on all customer records and report on delinquent behaviour and collection activity to either close the case or report to Rehabilitation team for longer than 30 days past due.

    • Policies, Processes and Procedures

    • Implement approved department policies, processes, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

    • Day- to-day operations

    • Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

    • Compliance

    • Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks

    • Supervision

    • Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree of commerce, Business Administration, accounting or equivalent.

    • Minimum 5 - 7 ( Senior Officers) 3 – 5 (Officers) years experience in remedial management in SME/Midcap segment, relationship management

    • Analytical skills.

    • Qualitative and Quantitative analysis.

    • Good communication skills

    • Good Negotiation skills
