The CIB Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Rehabilitation Sr. Officer
Responsible for building solid rehabilitation strategies for the NPLs that decided to stay, and to exit other accounts that were placed on exit, in a timely manner, to minimize losses. In addition, refer to the collection the accounts or NPLs that are past due and non-cooperative in their dealings.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Ensure that all customers in the rehabilitation phase are ready for the set recovery plan, and refer the ones that are not to the Collection.
Assist in developing the restructuring strategy & negotiate with customer to reach settlement &/or exit agreement and transfer to collections with the aim of achieving a higher recovery rates and lower losses
Manage customers who CIB decided to exit lending relationship in a disciplined manner to maximize recovery
Review the restructuring or phase out credit memos & renewal memos for accounts under rehabilitation.
Approve transferring customers to collections or current performing portfolio as per set policies for rehabilitation accounts and based on solid justification as per the appropriate approval matrix.
Work closely with collections and Early Warning teams to minimize portfolio losses.
Follow up
Ensure that the facility utilization is within approved limit and structure to ensure prompt settlement of dues for account under rehabilitation.
Monitor business & market updates related to customer under rehabilitation and any change within the Industry in terms of market conditions or regulatory environment that may affect the customer business.
Communication
Develop monthly tracking report with all cases under rehabilitation to be communicated to all stakeholders, including but not limited to clarifying updates of expected recoveries and losses in order for remaining stakeholders to re-arrange plans accordingly.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
Implement approved department policies, processes, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Day- to-day operations
Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
Compliance
Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Supervision
Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree of commerce, Business Administration, accounting or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience for Officers

Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data and take decisions
Strong presence and ability to work with people across functions at all levels
