Job Description
CSG Relationship Associate needs to be aware of country-specific capabilities, limitations, and KYC and lending regulations. There is a need to have basic knowledge of the product suite offered, basic knowledge of Lending products, Trade, FX, and Cash Management as well as Approved Elsewhere Program (AEP) guidelines.
This role requires excellent coordination with BSU (KYC), Customer Service, Operations, Account Services Unit, Compliance/AML, CRMS, etc. as well as the overseas Parent Account Manager (PAM) or Global Implementation Manager and the client on all matters related to onboarding, account opening/closing, overdrawn account regularization, product and credit implementation, servicing, transactions handling, follow-up for issues or documentation and supporting the Relationship Managers in managing the end-to-end CSG relationship. The CSG RA will be the first point of contact for client related escalations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Support the management of a portfolio of local clients
Work closely with the overseas PAMs and Global Implementation Managers on new referrals and existing clients’ needs.
Manage the risk management and AML/KYC process for the designated customer portfolio and be accountable for the on-going monitoring of credit quality and compliance with bank’s policies
Develop close relationships with Operations, Product, TTS, FICC, Legal, Compliance, Credit, Risk and PAM to ensure delivery of quality products and services to customers
Work on KYC for new to bank clients as well as existing client base
Manage existing base of key client relationships for transaction level support for a pool of Senior Relationship Managers
Handle documentation related to clients on-boarding with the Commercial Bank and keep the client/RM abreast of the status
Primary point of contact with customer for all service and transaction related escalations
Compile a weekly / monthly pipeline showing onboarding efforts and client satisfaction/complaints, etc.
Manage Account opening deferral, Credit documentation deferrals – for Business and support AIR resolution
Act as back-up for RM/SRMs as and when needed by the business
Support implementation of products (trade, cash, etc) and cash management offers
Handle communication and follow-ups with all departments (Risk, Ops, CLM, etc.) to solve client instructions/ deficiencies, and conduct CitiDirect / FX Pulse trainings etc.
Support account closing process – liaise with internal department and obtain necessary approvals, send notification to customer, etc.
X-sell by partnering with product partners – Cash, Trade and Treasury products
Ability to independently identify opportunity with clients and to clearly articulate possible solutions
Provide active feedback on emerging product needs of customers, competitive practices, and ideas on process/product improvement
Offer support in credit approvals (NTB or ETB) and inquire official/internal databases
Reporting and Administrative tasks and responsibilities
Support RMs with ad-hoc inquiries and other reports
Internal documentation handling (scan, transmission of documents, etc.)
Job Requirements
2-3 years of related Commercial/Corporate banking experience
Basic knowledge of Trade, Lending, FX and other Cash Management products
UAE experience preferred
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple client issues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commercial/Corporate Banking skills
Ability to work as a team player with stakeholders locally as well as overseas
Risk Management
MS-office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Language skills: English, Arabic (Desirable) and any other languages
Graduate in Business/Commerce or Banking Diploma
Ability to get things done from various stakeholders
