Provide support end to end related to front office client facing RMs of PB UAE office(s); onshore & offshore to achieve business and financial goals.
Work effectively with other team members across the UAE and FAB globally.
This is a fast paced environment conducted in an office setting. There is persistent pressure to multi task, meet deadlines and handle multiple assignments in a given day.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Full support end to end to newly hired and existing PBU Relationship Managers/Private Bankers (RMs) across PB onshore and offshore activities .
Processing day to day transactions (i.e. internal/external transfers, remittances, FD, borrowing new/renewals, booking of FX deals etc.) and operations of clients’ accounts within TAT (as per SLA Agreements).
Handle client inquiries directly and/or redirects to the Relationship Manager(s) for further clarifications.
Provide clients with updated portfolios statements, as required.
Support Relationship Manager(s) with the onboarding of new clients and prepare the complete account opening pack as per PBU compliance checklist ensuring quality and error free submissions.
Support Relationship Manager(s) with the preparation of credit applications in line with PBU credit team directives as required.
Prompt follow up with clients for the update of expired documents and pending originals to avoid escalation.
Prompt follow up on delivery of security items (e.g. Debit Card/Credit Card/Cheque Books etc.) within TAT as per bank’s policy.
Logging of client complaints/feedback in Complaints Management System (CMS) received through the RM and various banking channels with proper end to end follow up to ensure closure of complaints as per CMS policy.
Job Requirements
Should have a good understanding of Private Banking Products & Services.
University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or languages.
Ability to work within a team and develop professional relationships.
Strong English language skills coupled with Arabic /foreign languages would be an added advantage.
Professional qualifications such as (CISI 1 and/or 2 etc. ) or similar.
The job holder must be a presentable and self-motivated person with good interpersonal, communication, interrelationship and multi lingual skills.
The person must have a strong character coupled with good manners, professional discretion and able to handle difficult personalities (male & female) without aggression.
At times, the job may be stressful due to interactions with many people with different types of personalities, and the job holder is expected to multi task quickly.
Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop knowledge skills through ongoing training courses programs (internal / external courses).
