Job Description
We're looking for someone who wants to kickstart their career with an exciting Logistics internship. Working as part of our Regional Logistics team in the Materials Management department, this placement is guaranteed for 6 months, with the potential of turning into a full-time role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Your key responsibility is to own and drive the process of material flow for the Hilti Stores and Vans, working in close collaboration with our Account Managers and Hilti Store Representatives. You will ensure that there is an optimization of stock and service level at all locations, in line with company objectives, including stock availability, customer satisfaction and days-on-hands.
Upon successful induction and performance of your key tasks, additional projects will be assigned to you to further develop your skills and to offer insight into various functions within Logistics.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business fields required, with a focus in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
Recently completed, or currently undergoing an undergraduate degree
Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and to be detail oriented and well organized
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
A high level of motivation, a proactive mindset, and a continuous-improvement mentality
