Become part of a dynamic workforce by supporting the Local Compliance Officer in the implementation and maintenance of an effective Compliance Management System.
In this role, we are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and motivated candidate, who will be exposed to various compliance related topics such as compliance risk assessments, support of local management in assuming and executing responsibilities to implement and maintain an effective Compliance Program, raising Compliance and Integrity awareness on a companywide level as well as supporting with effective internal and external communications.
Moreover, you will work closely with various internal stakeholders and gain valuable insights into the corporate world.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
As our Compliance Intern, you will be reporting directly to the Local Compliance Officer and you will be taking up responsibilities such as:
Supporting the Local Compliance Officer in preparing communications, guidance and consultation regarding Compliance and Integrity topics
Identifying training needs and liaising with local management regarding the delivery
Supporting with the facilitation, monitoring and reporting of Integrity, Compliance and remediation activities
Supporting and verifying annual and ongoing Compliance risk assessments for different business units
Aggregating and analyzing Compliance issues/trends and providing entity summaries to the Local Compliance Officer
Participating in centrally organized meetings and trainings
Supporting with Compliance related HR issues.
Job Requirements
You are a law/management graduate with some experience in a corporate environment. Moreover, you have some knowledge in regards to internal audits and international law.

Last but not least, your English language skills are excellent, Arabic and German are a plus.
