    the Arab African International Bank is currently recruiting for the role of Liabilities Products Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Recommend changes to existing the Consumer Banking liabilities products to improve specifications and performance and responsible for designing and implementing new competitive deposits schemes.

    • Liaise with Treasury Division to design, develop and implement new competitive liabilities products and provide expert advice and assistance on technical issues relating to the modification of such liabilities products.

    • Formulate business plans and profitability targets through analysis of the potential products and set product pricing.

    • Responsible for designing and implementing new incentive schemes to encourage staff to generate business and grow the Consumer Banking liabilities portfolio.

    • Present daily/weekly/monthly liabilities products MIS reports for all stake holders for tracking the performance closely.

    • Monitor the liabilities products performance of competitors and carry out regular market research and present the result to Retail management to ensure that the bank maintains and develops its competitive position.

    • Direct regulator to obtain necessary approvals for certain product initiatives which require regulatory approvals

    • Prepare any required training materials needed to improve performance.

    • Monitor the financial performance (P&L) against the budget and propose initiatives in order to meet business goals.

    • Set the product pricing strategy based on the objectives to be achieved


    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a departmentally related field

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Liabilities Products.

    • Managerial skills

    • Fluent spoken and written English

    • Ability to perform well in a team environment and manage multiple deadline-driven projects.

    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

    • Good sales and negotiation skills

    • Communication and interpersonal skills
