ALEXBANK is currently recruiting for the role of Head of Cost Management Unit
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Manage all activities related to the suppliers such as the surveying, updating, analysis and assessment of suppliers according to technical, economic, financial, commercial, organizational, social/environmental sustainability criteria and even for their sub-contractors.
Deal with suppliers in line with the cost saving criteria of technical, commercial and financial reliability.
Develop sourcing strategies.
Systematically screen and identify new suppliers in order to optimize the suppliers costs.
Plan, in accordance with the requesters and/or the Group, the procurement activities and to check the budget availability.
Check the sourcing of goods & services to meet purchasing requirements managing the selection of the suppliers according to reliability, economical and transparency criteria.
Manage the local supplier database integrating financial data and predictive indicators identified through internal or external sources with the aim to identify supplier failures or potential problems early and mitigate related risks.
Lead the cost management team to achieve business targets
Assure the procurement dashboard are published on time
Audit the savings numbers and assure the evidence on the actuals
Perform Vendors evaluations and surveys

Minimum 8 years of experience
Financial modeling Knowledge
