    Attijariwafa Bank Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Branch Manager

    To deliver exceptional retail business performance through powerful leadership of Branch

    Responsible for the overall performance of the branch and achieving specific sales. Service and operational rigor target

    To provide expert support and advice to High Net worth & Premier customers, non-customers and colleagues, responding to referrals and introductions


    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Build, develop and motivate a high performing team committed to achieving success through each other

    • Ensure that your team members are developed to achieve their maximum potential whilst coaching them to build their awareness of their strengths / development needs.

    • Responsible for performance management either directly or indirectly for all Branch team .

    • Assist in recruiting to fill man power gaps

    • Creating successors across all functions.

    • Manage daily attendance levels within retail outlet

    • Manage poor performance and escalate disciplinary / grievances issue professionally and promptly in line with agreed procedures

    • Be a role model doing things wholeheartedly communicating with passion and enthusiasm embracing change as a way of working

    • Creating an empowering environment for your people encouraging individual ownership, initiative and challenge of the status quo

    • Bring to life the AWBE mission, brand and strategy to your people

    • Plan and implement the AWBE retail strategy for the branch through achievement of a balanced score card approach.

    • Working with team to achieve sales & service targets through in branch and business development activity .

    • Working with retail branch team to deliver exceptional business performance

    • Provide personal coaching and periodically support the branch team in their sales calls.

    • Driving business direction , Sales activity & Portfolio management .

    • Effectively track his team’s performance by closely monitoring their activity sheets on Daily basis , Follow up their pipeline and encourage cross selling among the team.

    • Maximize the sales opportunity through daily tracking for the different tools provided from liabilities across all products ensuring they are included in the daily activity sheets .

    • Own and manage customer queries and complaints by taking ownership and resolving in a timely manner.

    • Being personally effective at building the business, deepening relationships and effectively executing the sales process for the High Net worth and Premier .

    • Achieve volume and revenue goals via the combination of customer acquisition and relationship widening; in addition to growing network of clients through using diverse sources.

    • Deliver world class customer service practices and ensure adherence to AWBE Service standards to all AWBE customers

    • Implement and monitor the operational risk management guidelines for the branch working with the operational rigour coordinator to identify and resolve weakness and issues.

    • Maximize opportunities and generates strong, consistent and sustainable top line business growth resulting in increased profitability in the business cycle.

    • Report all risk events/incidents/issues immediately upon discovery and escalate significant events/incidents/issues using the defined process for my business area

    • Proactively identify ways to improve the control environment by considering what could go wrong in the processes I operate and how errors could be prevented – focusing on fixing root causes and taking ownership of identified actions

    • Maintain the look feel and physical security of the retail branch, premises working with regional retail delivery manager. Will also be responsible for security of staff and customers in the retail branch

    • Responsible for the handling and resolving of all branch complaints and escalating to the complaints champions in line with agreed procedures

    • Coach the team to ensure adhering to filling performance activity sheets timely and with Optimum quality


    Job Requirements

    • In depth knowledge of the full range of AWBE retail products and service and an overview of corporate and small business service

    • Fully aware with the Retail & OPS manual.

    • In depth understanding of the technical support systems’

    • Detailed understanding of the retail network business processes and operating procedures through knowledge of operating instructions and audit requirements.

    • Good understanding of AWBE risk policies

    • Understanding of the local competitors within the market

    • 8-10 years of Branch Banking Experience
