Job Description
The Commercial International Bank - CIB Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Risk Scoring Officer
To support the assessing of current applied risk models outputs, performing quantitative analysis and coordinating with key functions including vendors, risk management, respective business and information technology that would assist in developing and enhancing the quantitative risk models.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Risk Scoring Implementation
Perform statistical and quantitative advanced techniques analysis to maintain predictive models for consumer lending, scorecards, and decision-tree based on customer segmentation schemes, profiling analyses, and customer/facility segmentation schemes
Support the statistical analysis through providing all required data to use the Statistical Analysis System (SAS), SQL, and MS Excel tools that would result in enhancing and developing risk models
Perform credit risk scores, consumer lending and life cycle of credit product principles to test, document, enhance and optimize credit risk models and performance
Maintain accuracy of the technical documentation system for applied methodologies and applications, including project plans, model descriptions and data analysis
Provide all required data to support the analysis and interpretation of models results that would assist in recommending updates to existing risk models and metrics
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree of Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or their equivalent
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of banking experience
Technical experience in information technology/ systems or related field with 1 - 2 years of hands-on experience with data warehouses and business intelligence & reporting tools such as Business Objects and SAS and possess technical and analytical abilities
Experience with bank’s consumer products
Experience with scoring models
Technical experience including proficiency in SQL coding across standard relational environments (e.g. Oracle, MS & Access)
SAS / BI experience
Excellent command of English and Arabic Languages
Excellent interpersonal skills
Technical and analytical skills
