Job Description
To develop strong skills across the Worldpanel database systems and reporting tools as well as becoming proficient users of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. And to develop and learn the basic analytical skills and knowledge required of this role, with the view to assisting the client service team so they can deliver against the client contract.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Proactively seek to understand your client’s business and look for ways to use this knowledge to improve the work you do
Employ an appropriately professional tone in all communications including emails, presentation materials, telephone calls and face to face meetings
Ensure good relationships with the client are maintained by ensuring all Reports and requests are delivered on time and correct
Where appropriate answer client queries with support from your line manager
Seek solutions to problems when they arise.
Take ownership of client reports and any adhoc requests, ensuring they are acted upon by you or another member of the team in a timely fashion
Be responsible for/involved in producing the regular deliverables of data and ensuring that they are dispatched on time and accurately
Undertake the implementation of report quality control, carrying out changes to client report specs
Be able to retrieve data and understand the output from Powerview, Big 6 and any other software systems required
Develop competence in charting and be able to product basic presentation decks
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, focus on accuracy at all times
Analysis & Insight
Begin to recognise patterns and draw conclusions from the data set
Begin to learn how to build stories from numbers
Seek opportunities to practice building presentation skills
Actively participate in your placement phase training programmes to develop the required skills
Take part in your own performance management using the online appraisal system
Seek opportunities to practice and apply what you have learned in training
Ensure you maintain an up to date PDP with your line manager
Engage with your line manager, seeking their feedback, input and contribution to your development
Build relationships internally, specifically with immediate team
Understand your personal impact and build your reputation as a member of the team who has the confidence to work independently when required, but who is also an active, flexible, confident and trusted team member
