    Mashreq Bank is currently recruiting for the role of HR and Administration Manager

    Responsible to lead and manage the HR functions at Mashreq Egypt (COE). Would be accountable for the entire gamut of HR activities, such as Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Induction, Training and Development, Performance Management, Rewards & Recognition, HR Operations and MIS.


    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Continual focus on enhancing the COE (Center of Excellence) position as an employer of choice in the market.

    • Work with HQ TA & Marketing team on branding efforts with an aim to attract potential talent.

    • Support the HQ Talent Acquisition team in spotting, sourcing and engaging with top talent available in the local COE market.

    • Provide HQ TA function with local market intelligence and talent mapping of the resource pool in the market against available requirements.

    • To identify and negotiate with local recruitment agencies for sourcing manpower for the COE and recommend for empanelment based on Talent

    • Acquisition needs for the COE.

    • Direct involvement in on-boarding and induction of all recruits joining the COE.

    • Ensure the new joiner process is effectively managed in terms of background verification, relocations, onboarding and induction processes.

    • Ensure key recruitment metrics like source of hire, cost of hire and time to hire are effectively managed and adhered to for the COE.

    • Ensure all recruitment related SOP’s and guidelines are strictly adhered to in line with audit requirements.

    • Manage the Learning and development programs for all employees at COE. Monitor and drive the completion of mandatory trainings across the COE.

    • Work with the central MLS team to develop a training strategy for the CoE and identify training needs

    • Liaise with local training vendors to organize bespoke training programs for CoE staff

    • Work with Talent Management and MLS teams to drive mentoring, coaching and Mawaheb programs.

    • Drive Performance Management for all staff at COE. Work with Central C&B team on promotion, compensation review programs and merit increases as part of the annual appraisal process. Ensure all grievances are addressed and due process followed with non-performers.

    • Conduct periodic market dipsticks to recommend changes to compensation policies and staff benefits programs to the central C&B team.

    • Ensure compliance in all compensation related matters with local regulations

    • Monitor attrition and devise employee engagement strategy to retain talent and make the COE a ‘great place to work’.

    • Organize Employee Engagement activities (Saadati) which include sports, fun and cultural activities,employee wellness initiatives and CSR. Manage employee engagement calendar for the year.

    • Ensure timely resolution of employee grievances and concerns.

    • Work with OD team in driving employee engagement surveys and monitor implementation of action plans and results.

    • Provide inputs into succession planning as defined for the CoE

    • Manage HR Operations for COE, which includes monthly payroll, employee file management, HRMS, employee insurance management, administer benefits like personal loans, housing subsidies, transport allowance etc.

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Ensure timely and effective communication on all policy or process changes in HR.

    • Manage Reward and Recognition programs for COE and track budget utilization.

    • Plan and ensure effective utilization of COE HR budget.

    • Ensure statutory compliance of labor laws applicable in COE and ensure documents are kept audit ready at all times. Coordinate internal and external audits for the team. Ensure timely submission of RCSA inputs.

    • Ensure training completion records are updated in the Enterprise Learning Management System and shared at an agreed frequency.

    • Implement industry best practices in consultation with all stakeholders.


    Job Requirements

    • Graduate/ Post Graduate (MBA or equivalent), 9+ years of progressive HR experience covering various aspects of HR

    • Ability to strategize, plan and deliver solutions for an offshore delivery center. Excellent communication skills and presentation capabilities.

    • Excellent management skills in ensuring process adherence. Strong vendor and stakeholder management capabilities.

    • Sound knowledge of local labor laws specifically those relevant to an offshore delivery center.

    • Ability to manage diverse teams drawing on different skills to enable strong team results.
