Emirates Islamic is currently recruting for the role of Assistant Manager, Regulatory Compliance & Training
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Providing timely reviews and advice on regulatory compliance related matters.
Decimate regulatory circulars/ notices to respective business heads / segments
Taking initiative by highlighting potential concerns, whilst suggesting potential solutions.
Contributing to the achieving of the overall EI Compliance objectives.
Looking for potential synergies and quick-wins through teamwork and helping other Compliance units.
Establish and maintain appropriate FATCA compliance framework.
Monitoring of changes to FATCA and keeping abreast of international best practices for complying with the requirements.
Establish and maintain appropriate CRS & compliance framework.
Devise process/procedures to ensure remediation of all existing customer accounts across the Bank are remediated to meet FATCA timelines.
To ensure timely submission of FATCA reporting to the various regulatory authorities.
Providing input, guidance and recommendations on regulatory compliance subjects to be included in training.
Job Requirements
Good understanding of the key compliance risks pertinent to the core activities within the bank covering Retail, Corporate, Treasury, Private Banking.
Strong understanding of Compliance Monitoring methodology and its application.
Broad understanding of Banking and related products.
Problem Solving.
Good written and oral skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels of management.
Good time management skills and adherence to deadlines.
Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.
