    Emirates Islamic is currently recruting for the role of Assistant Manager, Regulatory Compliance & Training

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Providing timely reviews and advice on regulatory compliance related matters.

    • Decimate regulatory circulars/ notices to respective business heads / segments

    • Taking initiative by highlighting potential concerns, whilst suggesting potential solutions.

    • Contributing to the achieving of the overall EI Compliance objectives.

    • Looking for potential synergies and quick-wins through teamwork and helping other Compliance units.

    • Establish and maintain appropriate FATCA compliance framework.

    • Monitoring of changes to FATCA and keeping abreast of international best practices for complying with the requirements.

    • Establish and maintain appropriate CRS & compliance framework.

    • Devise process/procedures to ensure remediation of all existing customer accounts across the Bank are remediated to meet FATCA timelines.

    • To ensure timely submission of FATCA reporting to the various regulatory authorities.

    • Providing input, guidance and recommendations on regulatory compliance subjects to be included in training.


    Job Requirements

    • Good understanding of the key compliance risks pertinent to the core activities within the bank covering Retail, Corporate, Treasury, Private Banking.

    • Strong understanding of Compliance Monitoring methodology and its application.

    • Broad understanding of Banking and related products.

    • Problem Solving.

    • Good written and oral skills.

    • Ability to communicate at all levels of management.

    • Good time management skills and adherence to deadlines.

    • Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.

    • Negotiation and influencing skills.

    • Problem identification and solving skills.
