Alahli Bank of Kuwait - ABK is currently recruiting for the role of Head of Liabilities Product Development & Insurance Business
Liabilities: Growth and maintain liability portfolio with minimum cost of fund, increase NFI and profitability at the same time decrease concentration ratio.
Bundle Insurance: Increase profit, business magnitude, provide insurance cover to decrease the risk.
Bancassurance: Oversees all operation and process cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Product Development (Whole Bank) :
Own the whole product journey as well as customer experience and P&L ownership of all Deposit, Insurance and Bancassurance business across ABK Egypt.
Decide on the right set of customer initiatives and products bundles that sustains ABK Egypt’s balance sheet growth. Closely monitor and drive the channel acquisitions, build initiatives and decide tactics that bridge any formal or informal budget gaps.
Decide the right set of bundles and cross sell initiatives that would build a healthy bottom line and secure consumer stickiness with ABK Egypt.
Manage the products operation to ensure smooth implementation mainly for special cases, special rate and manually service fee.
Pricing Strategies: Present effective pricing strategies in alignment with product and segment strategies.
Market Competitors: Closely monitor market dynamic change on regular bases for all liabilities products and services.
Bundle Insurance: Increase profit, business magnitude, provide insurance cover to decrease the risk and TAT for claims.
Payroll: Design competitive payroll offers based on company segment.
Bancassurance: Responsible for all operation and process cycle (Bank commission, staff incentive and debit file).
Process & producers: Manage the process reengineering phases & ensure all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements in place also simplify & decrease number of documents to be unified – otherwise provide all front liners with friendly user sheet illustrate product feature and calculation.
MIS: present frequent report for CBE, Top management and wealth management regarding liabilities portfolio performance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience
Product development experience is a prerequisite.
Knowledge of portfolio evaluation techniques ad practice
At least 8 years’ banking sector experience.
Experience in retail product development.
Solid P&L Management Experience
Experience in portfolio assessment techniques and reporting.
