Kuwait International Bank - KIB is currently recruiting for the role of Digital Content Specialist
The Content Specialist is primarily responsible for creating and controlling the information uploaded to a mobile app for an informative and engaging online customer experience. The content developed is a core part of the product used directly by customers on daily basis.
In this role, the job duties include and not limited to creating, adding content relevant to the journeys being developed based on the sprints, writing content that will be used on the app, and overseeing the content management system (CMS) used to control the information. Furthermore, the content specialist will be required to streamline approvals from various stakeholders and align with various divisions and ensure the content uploaded adheres to the bank strategy and approving divisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrated ability in writing, research and communications strategy development
Ability to effectively manage and deliver multiple projects in a quality and timely manner, independently and under pressure
Strong creativity, collaboration, relationship-building skills and ability to work well with a national team in multiple locations
Greatly influence the content design of experiences that touch our digital banking customers everyday
Care deeply about creating better, smarter content that energizes and educates people with the end goal of helping them become better off financially
Expert writer, editor, producer, and storyteller who can deliver engaging and inspiring user-centered content throughout our digital experiences
Work closely and forge strong relationships with various stakeholders, including design, research, product, digital marketing, and business lines including legal and compliance teams in some instances to advise on editorial strategy and produce compelling digital content to support business goals
Primarily work alongside product owner and UX/UI designer to have context needed to create content which would need to be approved and translated in advance of development to meet project schedule
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consistent messages, positioning, timing and language for external audiences
Understand how design and content come together; you need to know that a story could be told across multiple experiences and may come in many different forms, including text, imagery, and video
Synthesize research outcomes into viable content and communication experiences, helping to optimize content for search engines to increase conversions
Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to adapt to a changing environment
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in communications or related discipline
2-3 years of related experience
Exposure to financial institutions and preferably in Kuwait
Good interpersonal communication skills
Excellent command of English and Kuwait Arabic (writer and speaker)
Proficiency with common office software and working knowledge of content management systems
