At Nestlé MENA we strive to contribute to Youth in our region by supporting their journey into the professional world. We have developed a Youth strategy and need passionate youth to bring this to life!
You will generate innovative ideas to engage with youth, so you need to be creative. You will support in managing calendar of events, so you need to be highly organized. You will build digital assets for our youth marketing campaigns, so you need to be digitally savvy. You will support our HR colleagues across the countries in hosting youth events, so you need to have a collaborative attitude.
Duration: 3 month internship
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
When you start your day, from the office or home, the first order of business is to check in with the Youth Lead to review our Youth strategy to ensure our initiatives are creating meaningful impact on youth. Our priorities and commitment to youth are already set, now your role is to make sure we fulfil those commitments.
You then begin networking with HR colleagues across the 19 countries in the region to ensure they are on track with the planned events and ask them to share relevant local insights and trends to ensure Nestlé remains relevant among youth job-seekers. You may ask them if they need any additional support. This could mean that you create LinkedIn post, to create youth marketing material, or raise potential issues to the Youth Lead.
Once you have completed your morning calls, you email our HR colleagues reminding them to submit updates on the events they have already completed, along with pictures and communication briefs to highlight successful initiatives.
Each of our events has impact on youth, so you track the number of youth impacted through each of our events based on the updates from our colleagues. You will spend some time consolidating data and providing a summary to the Youth lead on a weekly basis.
After lunch, it is time to check in with our Alliance for Youth Partners to agree on joint events we can host which are engaging, exciting and beneficial for youth. You share these ideas with the Youth lead and together you agree on a plan to bring these ideas to life in collaboration with our A4Y partners.
At the end of the day, you take on the hat of a Youth ambassador and partner with our Employer Branding team to work on and internal campaign that highlighting exceptional Youth we already have within the company to celebrate the great examples of how we bring our commitments to life.
Job Requirements
Has experience using Multimedia programs such as Photoshop/Powerpoint
Highly passionate, motivated, autonomous, pro-active
Excited about working in a multicultural & diverse and inclusive culture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (preferable)
