    Job Description

    EFG Hermes is currently recruiting for the role of Treasury Operations Senior Officer

    Responsible for monitoring cash flow, preparing financial forecasts, and handling the cash management system of Corporate Financing Solutions.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Update and review the Treasury reporting package on a regular basis.

    • Monitor daily cash balances and money market rates to consider/estimate the excess cash and available investment opportunities or debt settlements.

    • Review transactions related to transfers, FX, money market and facilities for Corporate Financing Solutions.

    • Liaise and maintain relationships with bankers and service providers to promote and facilitate business requirements, and respond to inquiries related to new facilities or renewals.

    • Prepare and review financial reports, presentations, charts, tables, etc. as needed.

    • Perform financial analysis to assess the department’s financial performance and assist in the preparation of credit packages as needed.

    • Responsible for accurately controlling all financial records, logs, spreadsheets, and registers related to Treasury operations.

    • Check and verify cash transactions, and investigate any discrepancies to propose possible resolutions.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics.

    • 4 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking sector or financial services firms.

    • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

    • Exercises discretion in all dealings.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Advanced numerical and modeling skills.

    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Power point).

    • Excellent command of Arabic and English.

    • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).

    • Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.

    • Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.

    • Detail oriented; works with a high degree of accuracy.

    • Flexible in taking on new tasks.

    • Multi-tasker, with the ability to meet changing deadlines.

    • Able to work under pressure, manage conflicting demands, and priorities tasks and workload.
