HSBC is currently recruiting for the role of Market Information & Client Services Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Take on a portfolio of clientele which comprises of Global Custodian, Broker Dealers and Private Banks. He/she will be the main point of contact in respect of information pertaining to investing in Kuwait as well as market support nuances. These clients are professional and seasoned network managers who demand attention to details, timeliness and accuracy of responses
Keep clients appraised of the ongoing position in terms of settlements and corporate actions, mainly for outstanding trades, and claims. Must be able to think out of the box in terms of rectifying failed or error trades
Assume responsibility to ensure that Operations understand and meet client’s agreed SLA requirements.
Work with other partners: LGA, TRY, NSC, CCO, GLCM and CIB/CMB to resolve any operational issue for clients.
Identify any other business opportunity to increase revenue such as ring fencing FX arrangements with HSBC and communicate the operational disadvantages to executing FX through 3rd parties.
Coordinate with the CIM team and ensure that Questionnaires, DDQ, RFP, SLAs are submitted timely.
Manage the relationship with market participants and to update the Market Guide for any changes in market nuances. The incumbent is also expected to prepare market information related documents, manage market broadcasts as also update our publication on the internet.
Develop client service plans & programs, in conjunction/co-ordination with AVP Client Services.
Implement service improvement initiatives on an ongoing basis in response to clients' needs.
Understand the regulatory requirements of the market and communicate these to clients accordingly.
Ensure SLA reviews are done regularly to protect/minimize risk to the Bank.
Job Requirements
Must be a University graduate
Atleast 5 years CNC/Securities market related experience.
Good knowledge in securities market practices & procedures, settlement & corporate action processes, SWIFT messages.
Strong inter-personal skills are required as he / she is likely to have a high degree of interaction with market regulators such as the Capital Markets Authority, Boursa Kuwait, Kuwait Clearing Company, Department of Inspection and Taxation, apart from day to day engagement with our clients.
Knowledge in payments, credit, treasury services.
Minimum 3 years as an executive and at management level dealing with internal and external customer
