The CIB Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Financial Accounting Accountant
To prepare the application of accounting treatments across the Bank books and develops the bank chart of accounts to ensure ongoing alignment to statutory requirements, standards and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Prepare the bank standalone, consolidated financial statements and its related external reporting/disclosures to shareholders and regulators and work closely with external and internal auditors to ensure full compliance with best international practice and CBE regulations.
Prepare the P/L accounting transactions according to the department procedures, the monthly P/L analysis report and performance report as well as the department set of proofs in order to asses variances in financial performance.
Prepare all accounting procedures and processes in accordance with statutory requirements and accounting standards to ensure compliance and alignment
Prepare the bank chart of accounts with its continuous update to ensure alignment to recent prevailing regulations
Prepare the build SOP’s, human capital and IT systems to ensure the accuracy, credibility and timely publishing of financial statements
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree of commerce business administration, accounting or its equivalent. Dip IFR or CPA or MBA from accredited university in Accounting is a must.
Minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience of banking operations.
