    Job Description

    The Commercial International Bank - CIB Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Payment Acceptance Assistant Product Manager

    To manage the development of Payment Acceptance products (acquiring and E-commerce) and mechanisms by designing strong product propositions that serve merchant needs and bank profitability to provide exceptional services to CIB customers

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Develop new payment acceptance products by creating value proposition suitable for different merchants’ segments to drive strong financial KPIs

    • Study industry trends and market innovation to adapt product line accordingly and maintain awareness by technological updates to ensure the provision of the latest system version in the market and provide our customers with the latest features

    • Identify and leverage the opportunity to grow in profitable segments to increase POS usage

    • Communicate any technical updates with RMs to maintain superior quality standards

    • Accountable for setting the proper pricing strategy for the different Payment Acceptance products

    • Monitor Payment Acceptance Business authorization rates and recommend enhancements in order to ensure effective approval rates process along with smooth workflow

    • Suggest policy and process enhancements as per business needs

    • Collaborate with MasterCard, Visa, Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and other external business partners to stay up-to-date with all new features and technologies to enhance existing products, introduce new one and optimize products’ profitability

    • Liaise with POS / MPOS machines vendors to ensure having the appropriate machines in terms of technical specifications and price to have suitable machines for different merchant Segments.

    • Accountable for the Merchants experience and journey. Liaise with CIB Call Centre and the machines’ vendors for a superior after sales service

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree of commerce, Business Administration or related fields

    • Minimum 3 years for Assistant Product Managers of relevant experience

    • Knowledge of campaign management and marketing practices

    • Knowledge of Credit Card acquisition management principles.

    • knowledge of risk management principles

    • Knowledge and hands-on experience of the sales culture and mechanics in the financial services industry.

    • Superior record of achievement of targets

    • Good command of English language

    • High analytical Skills.

    • Creative with the ability to think out of the box

    • Sales support and sales performance management skills

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
