The CIB Egypt is currently recruiting for the role of Press & Content Manager
To plan and implement Public Relations (PR) and content strategy to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image, in addition to developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs in order to enhance the public image of the bank.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Create the annual PR calendar covering the bank’s stakeholders in alignment with the business needs and strategy.
Develop media content strategy, to maintain high-level exposure in all channels (print, broadcast and online media)
Coordinate all PR & content campaigns and plans bank wide as well as with external stakeholders
Set and implement PR campaigns to promote the bank’s business news, launches, achievements…etc. across internal and external communications channels.
Handle all media inquiries, both local and foreign, in terms of content (interviews, bi-lines, advertorials, events coverage…etc.) to ensure accuracy of presented data.
Maintain the brand’s content style, tone and guideline to deliver a constant, unified communications, both internally and externally to ensure consistency and alignment.
Manage required corporate communications, including drafting speeches for the executives, interview data, media kits in press conferences, in addition to attending maintaining PR relations in the bank’s related events.
Report and analyse social, economic, and political trends through the daily media monitoring and recommend ways to enhance the firm's image based on those trends.
Work closely with Marketing Managers to ensure that advertising campaigns are compatible with the bank’s brand
Assess the organization’s brand exposure, presence in comparison to competitors in terms of media content.
Evaluate the ROI of PR campaigns by calculating the ad values against advertising budget to assess its impact.
Crisis Communications Management
Update and modify the Crisis Communications Plan quarterly to ensure the readiness of the bank to respond to crisis/potential crisis.
Manage the PR aspect of potential crisis situation or during/post a crisis and ensure the proper handling of each case as per the crisis content strategy.
Conduct crisis communications simulations to test the effectiveness of the Crisis Communications – Action Plan and apply any modifications/amends if needed.
Strategy
Participate in the formulation and implementation of the Branding & Corporate Communication department strategy to ensure the alignment with CIB strategy.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mass communication with a PR or Advertising concentration
6 - 8 years of experience in relevant field
Excellent command of English and Arabic Languages
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good Management skills
Understanding of media needs and media relationships
Managerial skills
