    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Represent Japan Airlines in day-to-day passenger operations by supervising handling company staff and servicing passengers in all phases of arrivals.

    • Supporting check-in, boarding gate, baggage support, back-office duties and departures.

    • Fielding passenger requests while following rules and regulations of the airlines, states, countries, and other governmental agencies that may be involved.

    • Provide efficient guidance and reports to on-duty staff on any anticipated or existing problems in order to ensure good service and the safe handling of passengers.

    • Create daily/monthly/quarterly reports and statistics when needed.

    • Verify the accuracy of invoices for payment processing, supply and meal ordering, and data collection.

    • Analysis of weather maps, airport diagrams, and reports to make suitable judgements for station coordination.

    • Other duties as assigned


    Job Requirements

    • Previous experience working in airline industry at least 1years (not mandatory)

    • Must be available to work on weekends and holidays

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Typing and computer proficiency

    • Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred, but not required

    • Valid U.S. driver’s license

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa support available)

    • High school diploma

    • Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs with no restrictions.
