Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Represent Japan Airlines in day-to-day passenger operations by supervising handling company staff and servicing passengers in all phases of arrivals.
Supporting check-in, boarding gate, baggage support, back-office duties and departures.
Fielding passenger requests while following rules and regulations of the airlines, states, countries, and other governmental agencies that may be involved.
Provide efficient guidance and reports to on-duty staff on any anticipated or existing problems in order to ensure good service and the safe handling of passengers.
Create daily/monthly/quarterly reports and statistics when needed.
Verify the accuracy of invoices for payment processing, supply and meal ordering, and data collection.
Analysis of weather maps, airport diagrams, and reports to make suitable judgements for station coordination.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Previous experience working in airline industry at least 1years (not mandatory)
Must be available to work on weekends and holidays
Excellent communication skills
Typing and computer proficiency
Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred, but not required
Valid U.S. driver’s license
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa support available)
High school diploma
Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs with no restrictions.
