    Air Arabia is hiring a Flight Dispatcher in Cairo, Egypt to generate timely, effective, and safe operational flight plans and pre-flight briefings for scheduled and non-scheduled flights in compliance with Air Arabia policies and procedures, as well as GCAA/CAA regulations. The role involves generating flight plans, monitoring performance, analyzing data, and providing detailed summary information on fuel consumption, flight plans, flight watch, test, and training flights. The role also involves providing a flight crew briefing, transmitting flight plan requirements to ICAO, and coordinating with Operations Controllers and Captains in Command to manage irregular operations and disruptions. The role also involves assessing accidents and initiating emergency response procedures, ensuring data maintenance, and maintaining smooth workflow between shifts. The Flight Dispatcher will also be responsible for ensuring proper handover and takeover of flight plans, staying updated with changes to company manuals, aircraft manufacturer's publications, and regulatory bodies' publications.


    Job Requirements

    The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Math/Aeronautical Engineering/Management or a higher diploma in aviation, aeronautical engineering, or related fields. They should also have a valid "Flight Dispatcher Certificate of License" issued by an approved institute or organization, preferably GCAA. Basic airport, security procedures, and regulations training is an advantage. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, technical report writing, and English language proficiency.

    Work experience is not required, but the candidate should have good problem-solving skills, experience with Civil Aviation Authorities and regulatory bodies, and familiarity with QA/Safety/Security/Audit procedures. They should be able to apply policies and procedures according to approved standards and regulations, perform in a changing environment with heavy work-load schedules and ad-hoc scenarios, and be self-confident, focused, and cost-oriented. They should also perform with high accuracy and attention to detail, and have proven skills in time and change management.
