Job Description
The role involves ensuring timely, efficient, and professional service in accordance with the company's commercial, safety, and security policies, standards, and procedures. It involves analyzing anticipated operational problems, ensuring that Handling agents, Service Providers, airlines, and authorities are fully briefed on Emirates requirements, and ensuring proper post-flight activity is completed to protect revenue and facilitate customer handling.
Responding to queries, complaints, and claims efficiently and promptly is crucial to restore passenger confidence. Administrative tasks are also undertaken by the Airport Services Manager or Airport Services Officer.
Bagage claims processing and control expenditure are also essential. Support and cover the Emirates Ticket Desk, handling ticketing/reservation duties. Support and coach airport services agents and personnel to ensure they are fully briefed and provide customer service levels.
Assisting the ASM in conducting staff performance reviews in line with Performance Matters, conducting credit card verification and travel document checks, and overseeing catering, cleaning, and maintenance operations. Liaising with service providers and supervising contracted staff ensures service standards are met and maintained.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should have completed professional training in Customer Services and Ground Operations, have at least 4 years of experience in the airline industry, have expertise in reservations, fares, ticketing, departure control systems, baggage tracing, claims handling, and Microsoft Word, E-mail, and Excel. Fluency in English and Arabic is required, along with advanced customer service delivery skills. The position requires living and working in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
