Qatar Airways is seeking a Airport Services Duty Supervisor in Ground Services in Cairo, Egypt. Reporting directly to the Duty Officer, the role will involve supervising the team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring the award-winning 5-star service Qatar Airways is known for. Key responsibilities include facilitating ramp handling, ensuring on-time flight closures, planning efficient duty allocations, providing leadership, team building skills, direct staff, and evaluating performance. The role will also involve managing the ticketing team and providing support to the Airport Services Manager in training and addressing challenges.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate must have a college or university degree, at least 4 years of experience in airline or ground handling operations, excellent communication skills, knowledge of weight and balance, ramp handling, and dangerous goods regulations, ability to perform duties under pressure, understanding of carriage conditions, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security procedures, experience in passenger services, baggage services, ground operations, and ramp handling, high computer literacy, and excellent customer focus and service delivery. Legal rights to live and work in Egypt are required.
